Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. The Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to our oncology specialists and ensuring the efficient operation of our office. This position requires a proactive and resourceful individual who can handle a variety of tasks with professionalism and discretion.  

Responsibilities:

  Greet patients and visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries in a courteous and professional manner. Schedule patient appointments, tests, and procedures, and coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and efficient care delivery. Maintain electronic health records (EHR) and other patient documentation accurately and confidentially, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. Prepare and organize patient charts, medical records, and other administrative documents for appointments and consultations. Assist with insurance verification, billing, and payment processing, and collaborate with billing specialists to resolve any issues or discrepancies. Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers and specialty services as needed, and follow up to ensure continuity of care. Manage inventory of office supplies, medical equipment, and patient education materials, and reorder supplies as necessary. Assist with clerical tasks such as typing correspondence, filing paperwork, and organizing office files and records. Support administrative staff and healthcare providers with various projects and tasks as assigned.  

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certification in medical office administration preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare setting or medical office environment preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, visitors, and healthcare providers. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Positive attitude, team player mentality, and willingness to assist others as needed. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and responsibilities.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Oncology Case Manager to join our team. The Oncology Case Manager will play a critical role in providing comprehensive support and coordination of care for patients diagnosed with cancer. Working closely with healthcare providers, patients, and their families, the Case Manager will oversee all aspects of the patient's care journey to ensure optimal outcomes and quality of life.  

Responsibilities:

  Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for patients diagnosed with cancer, providing personalized support and guidance throughout their treatment journey. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical, emotional, and psychosocial needs, and develop individualized care plans to address their unique concerns. Coordinate and facilitate communication between healthcare providers, including oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists, to ensure timely and comprehensive care delivery. Assist patients in navigating the healthcare system, scheduling appointments, coordinating diagnostic tests and procedures, and obtaining necessary medications and supportive care services. Provide patient education on cancer diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and symptom management strategies, empowering patients to make informed decisions about their care. Monitor patients' progress and treatment adherence, and collaborate with the healthcare team to adjust care plans as needed to optimize outcomes. Conduct regular follow-up assessments and provide ongoing support to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or barriers to care. Collaborate with community resources and support organizations to provide additional services and resources to patients, such as financial assistance, transportation, and psychosocial support. Document patient interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately and comprehensively in the electronic health record (EHR) system.  

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or related field required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in any US state. Minimum of 15 years of clinical experience in oncology nursing or case management, with a strong understanding of cancer diagnosis, treatment modalities, and supportive care interventions. Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN) or Case Management (CCM) preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with patients and families. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to care coordination and patient advocacy. Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a commitment to providing patient-centered care. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive education to patients and their families regarding their diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and supportive care services. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs, and develop individualized care plans to address their unique concerns. Advocate for patients' rights and preferences, ensuring that their voices are heard and respected throughout the healthcare process. Monitor patients' progress and outcomes, providing ongoing support, education, and symptom management as needed. Qualifications:
